Hiking and Biking
Many cycle paths connect Beeskow with other parts of Germany. The Spree-Radweg covers about 400 kilometres from the source of the River Spree to Berlin, a good 100 kilometres hereof lead across the region Oder-Spree. |

So do Germany’s longest cycle path (1111kilometres) - the “Tour Brandenburg” , the Oder-Spree-Tour and the “Märkische Schlössertour”. Beeskow is also the starting point for a very popular tour round the lake Schwielochsee ( about 55 kilometres ), which leads through several little villages and offers a ferry crossing to those who want to take a short cut. |

The river ferry runs from April to October. Good walkers can explore the scenery by following the 8 ½ -kilometre nature trail, which starts off in the city centre and leads along the River Spree. |
